Neck pain can exist for a number of reasons, including abnormalities in the bone or joints, trauma, poor posture, degenerative diseases, tumour, muscle strain and repetition. The shoulder joint is held in place by ligaments and muscles that results in a broad range of movement. Due to being so mobile this joint can be more prone to inquiry. Shoulder pain can occur for many reasons, including strains from overexertion, tendonitis shoulder from overuse, shoulder joint instability, dislocation, collar or upper arm bone fractures, frozen shoulder, trapped nerve in back or repetition. Some people experience pain in just one area, whilst others in both.

Neck and Shoulder conditions can be diagnosed through X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans or sometimes-through Electro-diagnostics. Once diagnosed with these conditions they can be treated with anti-inflammatory medication, muscle relaxers, heat and or cold to the affected area and movement exercises. Back pain is a common problem that most people experience at some point in the life. It usually occurs as an ache, stiffness or tension in the back. This can be triggered by bad posture while sitting, standing, bending awkwardly or lifting incorrectly.  One of the most common causes of backache comes from being at a desk bound or seated job like driving, for long periods of time, causing bad posture and putting a strain on the upper and lower back. Back pain occurs mostly in the lower back, although it can be felt anywhere along the spine, from your neck down to your hips.

It is important to always try to endeavour to sit, stand and lift correctly using your abdominals, also try to avoid placing too much pressure on your back and ensure your back is strong and supple. Regular exercise such as walking and swimming are good ways to prevent back pain, as well as yoga or Pilates to improving flexibility and core strength. State of mind can also have a profound impact though it can be hard to be cheerful if you are in pain, but evidence has shown that people who remain positive tend to have a quicker recovery that those who become depressed.

Most cases of back pain are not generally caused by a serious condition.
